The Hubsan X4 and the Cheerson CX-10 happen to be two of the most popular drones on the scene. The Hubsan X4 gets the respect thanks to a super agile nature and the fact that it’s built like a tank. The Cheerson Cx-10, on the other hand, is not only agile, but is also one of the smallest (if not the smallest) drones commercially available.
While the Hubsan X4 costs around $35 on most popular web portals, the Cheerson CX-10 is a lot more affordable with a price of just $15-17 shipped, making it a natural choice for beginners, and people that prefer flying their drones indoors rather than outdoors. Unfortunately though, the Cheerson CX-10 comes with a controller which makes it hard to control the quad-copter, especially if you have large hands like mine.
This is where the need for a better controller comes in. And fortunately, there already exists a drone that is the same as the Cheerson CX-10, but with some improvements… including a Hubsan X4 style controller! (minus the LED display). The drone — Bayang Toys X6 — has the same chassis and main board as the Cheerson CX-10, but it additionally comes with solid prop guards that make the drone one of the best choices for beginners.
In fact, the Bayang Toys X6 was also my first drone! I’ll be putting up a review soon. In the meantime, do drop any comments/questions/queries that you might have around the same!
