Smartphone manufacturer OnePlus working on a drone of their own

droneOnePlus rocked the smartphone world with the OnePlus One last year, and from what I’m hearing, the company will also launch a drone of their own.

On a recently concluded Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything), OnePlus officials conceded that the company was indeed working on a drone. OnePlus had been teasing a new product for April, but it is only know that the world comes to know about what actually it is going to be.

The AMA session was held by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei (as /u/carpe02) and David S. (as /u/devildv). In their teasers, OnePlus had been posting on social streams with hashtag #OneGameChanger. Also, about three months back, the company posted a picture taken on a drone (see below).

Given the magnitude by which OnePlus shook the smartphone market with the One, I’m expecting to see something pretty radical with the new ¬†OnePlus drone as well. Hopefully it’ll be priced right like the OnePlus One, and hopefully it won’t face manufacturing and shipping delays like the OnePlus One. Take a look at the comment from OnePlus forum admin David S. that confirms the OnePlus drone below:
