To say that of the of first nano quadcopter drones, the Cheerson CX-10 was a success, would be an understatement. Despite being in the market for a long while, the little quadcopter continues to do well.
Cheerson soon followed up the CX-10 with the new CX-10A, and thankfully, they ‘didn’t fix it while it was working alright’. The Cheerson CX-10A is essentially the same as the CX-10, but the only difference is that the CX-10A comes with an added headless mode. Most stores no longer sell the older CX-10 anymore, since there really isn’t any significant difference in price.
If you’re not sure what headless mode means, you might want to read my article here about how it all works. On the Cheerson CX-10A, headless mode is activated buy simply pushing one of the control sticks.
Banggood sent one over to me for review, and I just received the parcel last night. I’ll be testing the CX-10A through the next week or so, shortly after which you’ll see a review on RC Drone Arena. I’ll also pit it against the Bayang Toys X6, which is my current favourite nano quadcopter!
