Tonnes of Cheerson CX-10 clones exist on the market already; in fact, the quadcopter drone is so popular that even smartphone manufacturer OnePlus decided to rebrand it as their own.
Another nano quadcopter drone that’s very popular is the Estes Proto X/Hubsan H111. The once-smallest-quadcopter can now be found under various names, and today I might just have come across another in the form of the Skylark M4-50 Mini. The RTF version of this quadcopter drone is listed for a rather optimistic $48 on SkylarkFPV.
The listing states that the Skylark M4-50 comes with a 500mAh battery, which frankly, isn’t possible on a frame that small. It also comes with a yesteryear-style transmitter which houses an on-board LCD panel.
I’m not really sure if it’s a clone or just a very similar looking drone, but what I can tell you for sure is that the $48 price tag is certainly not justified. It will be interesting to see how many of these Skylark actually manage to sell at that price!
The Hubsan H111, on the other hand, sells for a much more digestible $26 shipped worldwide. It certainly doenst take a rocket scientist to tell you which one, among the two, you should rather buy if you’re looking for a tiny little quadcopter drone to fly around in the house!
