Popular China based toys manufacturer WLtoys has announced yet another quadcopter drone to its already popular V-series, the WLtoys V666N.
The V666N is an upgrade to the V666, which has been on the market since a while. The WLtoys V666N adds a barometer to the existing design, which means the quadcopter drone can now tell how far high up in the sky it is. The WLtoys V666N happens to be one of the first entry-level drones to offer this feature, and I’m sure we’re going to see a lot more of this in the future!
Apart from that, the V666N is pretty much the same as the V666. It has the same 5.8GHz FPV system, a 7.4V 1200mAh battery, 6 axis gyroscope and a flight time of 7 to 8 minutes.
The camera comes with ‘shock absorbers’ (the kind you see on gimbals) which should help reduce vibrations on the camera. Speaking of the camera, it can also be used to record video; interestingly, Banggood are also including a 4GB microSD card in the retail box.

The WLtoys V666N quadcopter drone can be bought for $150 shipped via Banggood, which is just $5 more than the $145 price tag of the V666… which makes it quite clear that the factory is going to stop making the V666 altogether.
