XK is an unheard-of drone manufacturer for me, but the company seems to have some decent offerings in place.
XK just announced not one, not two but a total of four new quadcopter drones in the form of the XK Aircam X500, XK Alien X250, XK Detect X380 and XK Stunt X350. Lets talk more about each of them and skim through the details.
The XK Aircam X500 looks a bit like a racing quadcopter drone, which is perhaps why it uses a carbon fiber frame. It comes with GPS as well, so return to home (RTH) should be a lot better than other inexpensive drones. According to Banggood, the XK Aircam measures 430*400*208mm and offers a flight time of up to 30 minutes (which, frankly, is a little hard to believe) thanks to a 14.8V 5400mAh battery. The XK Aircam comes in X500 and X500-A variants, priced $460 and $670 respectively.
Moving on to the XK Alien X250, the quadcopter drone measures 194 * 194 * 61mm and comes with an 800mAh battery that enables the Alien X250 to do flights up to 12 minutes long. It is the most inexpensive in the lot at just $59 shipped. One good thing about this drone is that despite being inexpensive, it features coreless motors.
The XK Detect X380 looks like a drone meant for aerial filming. It comes in four variants — X380, X380-A (1-axis gimbal, 1080p camera), X380-B (3-axis gimbal, 1080p camera) and X380-C (2-axis gimbal, 1080p camera). Flight times vary too, despite each of them packing a 5400mAh 11.1V battery. The X380 does 30 minutes, X380-A does 27 minutes, X380-B does 28 minutes while the X380-C manages upto 22 minutes. These can be bought off Banggood starting $335 shipped.
Last but not the least, the XD Stunt X350 quadcopter drone is perhaps the most futuristic looking of the lot. It comes with a 2200mAh 11.1V battery (12-18 min flights), and measures 305 x 305 x 210mm. 1400KV brushless motors propel the XK Stunt X350 quadcopter drone, which is priced at $238.
