Huacai HC601 with headless mode sells for $33

HC601 2_result-3The name Huacai reminds me of Chinese smartphone maker Huawei. I haven’t heard of this name before, and I assume you haven’t too; however it’s a new quadcopter drone from Huacai that makes the company a subject of discussion.

Known as the Huacai HC601, the new quadcopter drone sells for $33 shipped. Like most new launches in the last 2-3 months, this one does headless mode too (which I hope is better than the CX-10A headless capabilities). According to a listing, the HC601 measures¬† 280 x 280 x 80mm — pretty massive for a $33 quadcopter, I must admit.

Also, it appears that it can mount a camera on the underside, I’m just not sure what payload it can take. That is what decides if it’ll be a Mobius 808 #16 or a full-fledged GoPro action camera (or the likes).

There’s no word on the remaining specifications of this one. You can buy one off GearBest or EverBuying for $33 shipped… which doesn’t sound like a bad price for a rather large drone, but then again there’s not a lot known about it as yet.

I don’t think I’ll be doing a review of this (most likely). So do let me know what you think about this one in the comments section below.
