JJRC’s entry-level (and incidentally the world’s most affordable RTF quadcopter drone) H8 Mini is a well known flier around hobbyist circuits around the world. With the very affordable H8 Mini, JJRC has given everyone a chance to try their hands at quadcopter drone flying without losing a lot of money. With the all-new H18 hexacopter drone, it seems like JJRC wants everyone to upgrade to a hexacopter.
There’s no real pricing info out there are yet, but GeekBuying is accepting pre-orders for $38, while Banggood ($19) and Tmart ($22) have lower pricing mentions on their respective stores. Looking around and talking to my sources revealed that the JJRC H18 hexacopter will only start shipping mid-July.
Nonetheless, it looks like a very interesting prospect with the design and relatively affordable pricing. A hexacopter will any day be a lot more stable than a quadcopter of its size, and that’s why you should try your hand at one if you haven’t already.
I’ll try and get my hands on a sample of the JJRC H18, stay tuned for more news on this for I have a feeling this one’s going to be pretty popular.
