Thanks to the low cost of Chinese manufacture, camera-powered quadcopter drones are now a dime a dozen. I’m hoping the new Broadream S2C isn’t one of those; the S2C is a quadcopter drone that just got listed on reseller sites.
As a general rule, you can now make that every quadcopter (and this includes the subject) that has a ‘C’ in its name has a camera. How convenient is that!
Nonetheless, lets talk about this new quadcopter they call the Broadream S2C. Besides having a weird-ish name (is seems as though they’ve really tried to make it sound like a western name), the S2C has a recognizable frame… reminiscent of the LaTrax Alias (sort of) but with prop-guard on by default. Oh, and this quadcopter also comes with headless mode.

For now, the Broadream S2C is listed for $44 that doesn’t sound like too bad a price for a camera drone. The camera, by the way, is a 0.3MP (VGA) sensor. The camera chassis looks similar to the one used on the DM007, and that camera wasn’t too bad for the price.
The Broadream S2C has a 650mAh battery, which should give you 8 minute flights. Besides that, there isn’t a lot to talk about the S2C; you might want to take a look at the product page where you can get it for $44 shipped.
