Cheerson decides to rebrand the Floureon FX-10 as the CX-Stars

Cheerson's CX-10 was recently dethroned as the world's smallest quadcopter drone, and it looks like the company wants to win back the crown!

Cheerson’s CX-10 (review here) was known as the world’s smallest quadcopter drone for a long, long time. Very recently, OEM Floureon came out of nowhere to make the new world’s smallest quadcopter drone, the Floureon FX-10 (read more about it here).

It appears as though Cheerson didn’t quite like it, and has decided to rebrand the FX-10 as its own… as the Cheerson CX-Stars. If you can’t beat them, buy them.

Back when I first wrote about the FX-10, I couldn’t help but compare it to the CX-10. But never did I imagine that Cheerson would actually go as far as to sell the product as its own; what remains to be seen is whether this is a good or a bad thing for buyers.

Nonetheless, Cheerson is a lot better known than Floureon and should probably help the Floureon factory get a lot of orders. If it doesn’t actually own Floureon already, that is.

It appears as though the Cheerson CX-Stars is yet to go on sale. Regardless, by now you know that the CX-Stars is nothing but the FX-10 in different packaging; so if you’re interesting, go ahead and get a Floureon FX-10 for yourself.

I’ve only found a listing for the FX-10 on reseller GearBest, but other reseller stores including Banggood, Tmart and other should soon have either the FX-10 or the CX-Stars in stock.
