SkyPixel’s latest contest seeks 360° Panorama shots; DJI Phantom 4 for the taking

SkyPixel has been the world’s leading community for aerial photography and videography for some time now. They even recently surpassed one million registered users. Their latest contest is looking for the best 360° Aerial Panorama photographs, with a due date of June 20th.

The contest — which flagged off on May 20th — offers a platform for both budding and professional photographers to submit their best aerial panoramic pictures. The contest – held in collaboration with the DJI+ Discover network – will end on June 20th.

The official SkyPixels website has a new section dedicated to uploading the 360° panoramic images, with the ability to create, upload and display the imagery on the website. Viewing the submitted images is easy, with the website having its own inbuilt 360° viewer.

Coming to the juicy stuff – the prizes on offer. The first prize is a DJI Phantom 4 and a top-of-the-line Huawei P9 smartphone. The second prize winner would be richer by DJI Credits valued at $500 and a Huawei P9 smartphone. The third prize winner will be awarded DJI credits valued at $300, along with a Huawei Watch.

Five consolation prizes will also be given out, with the goodies on offer including DJI Credits valued at $100 and a Huawei TalkBand B3.

At the time of writing this article, more than a thousand submissions have already been made, with each image more vivid than the last. Here are a couple of images to give you an idea.
