SKRC D20W WiFi FPV Quadcopter Drone

I’d be lying if I said I’d heard of SKYC before. The company have come out with the new SKRC D20W quadcopter drone, which is a $40 gadget that also does FPV (over WiFi).

The SKRC D20W comes with a 2 mega-pixel camera that captures the video to be streamed to you. Just like any other WiFi FPV quadcopter, you require a smartphone (which can be mounted on the controller) to view the drone’s FPV feed. Also, expect a lag between the actual capture and what you see on the phone… because that is a characteristic of WiFi FPV.

Coming back to the D20W, it comes with the usual features, including headless mode, one key return, and a few other features (including flips) to keep beginners interested. Have a look here, which is where it is on sale for $39.99 shipped.

A 600mAh battery powers the quadcopter, which the company claim is good enough for a flight time of 8-12 minutes. It’s very likely that the actual flight time is closer to the lower limit than the upper, in my opinion.

Again, here’s where you can avail the SKRC D20W WiFi FPV quadcopter for the aforementioned $39.99. Any takers here?
