DJI’s Mavic Pro is quite the rage right now. The consumer-centric quadcopter drone — first with a foldable design from DJI — is now all set for a launch across the oceans.
The Mavic Pro (top) will have a launch of its own in Malaysia on the 12th this month. Alongside the Mavic Pro, the DJI Osmo Mobile (below) will make an appearance. There’s no official word on pricing as yet, but according to sources in the Malaysia, the Mavic Pro will be RM 4500 ($1084) while the Osmo Mobile will go for RM 1350 ($325).
SoyaCincau reports that the Mavic Pro is already on pre-order in the country. Looking at the asking price of RM 5900, it might be a good idea to wait for the official launch.
The Mavic Pro was announced days after the GoPro Karma, which definitely wasn’t a coincidence. The Osmo Mobile too is a recent launch, and a device to help make videos from your smartphone smoother.
