WLtoys Q393

The WLtoys Q393 is a new smart-looking quadcopter aimed at folks looking to grab some basic aerial footage. It comes in a couple variants; with a built-in 2MP HD camera on the WiFi version and 5MP on the 5.8GHz variant.

Both the WiFi and the 5.8GHz FPV options can take photos and can record 720p videos at 30fps. The dual-way 2.4GHz four channel transmitter features on-screen display of flying speed, altitude, battery level, and flight duration… which in my opinion is pretty cool and is something not usually seen on brushed quadcopters.

Other features include: Altitude Hold, 3D rolls, Headless Mode and One Key Take Off / Land / Automatic Return. There’s still no GPS module so the latter feature might really lack in precision.

The WLtoys Q393 is fueled by a 7.4V 2600mAh 20C LiPo battery that offers up to 13 minutes of flying.

WLtoys Q393: Pricing and Availability

The WLtoys Q393 is still not available for purchase and Gearbest doesn’t show the price officially yet, but by scrolling down the page it’s possible to see it’ll be priced $101.16 in the WiFi version, while the FPV variant is $129.93 and it does come with an FPV monitor.

Check price:

Overall, the drone sure looks good aesthetically but at this price range there are some more interesting quadcopters with built-in GPS coming up, such as the Hubsan X4 STAR PRO H507A (or even the Hubsan H501A) or ones with brushless motors like the MJX Bugs 3 (albeit without camera). We’ll have to wait and see what the real price of both version will be!
