The WiFi camera has a resolution of 0.3MP and can shoot 720p videos. It can live stream to your smartphone through WiFi (duh!) and can record videos both locally on a microSD card or directly on your smartphone.
The Altitude Hold Mode allows you to keep the drone at a certain height from the ground without you having to manually adjust the throttle. This feature comes pretty handy when you want to record steady videos.
Syma’s X8SW also features one key take-off and landing, that means you can automatically fly or land the drone by pressing a key, albeit on these lower-end drones the automatic landing could be not as clean as you expect.
The X8SW is powered by a 74.V 2000mAh battery which gives the quad an autonomy of about 9-10 minutes, we would have hoped for a bit more, to be fair.

Syma X8SW: Pricing and Availability
The Syma X8SW is available online for about $109 from different retailers. Considering the price we would have hoped to get GPS positioning (or brushless motors), as more and more drones in the $100 price-range are slowly doing, the Hubsan X4 STAR PRO H507A being one of them
That said, the Syma X8SW is still a great option for new comers as it’ll be super easy to fly, plus it’ll sure sport the top-notch built quality we’ve been accustomed to see from Syma’s drones.
