Rather unknown drone manufacturer – HGLRC – just launched a really interesting racing quadcopter, namely called HGLRC HORNET. The aircraft features everything you need for some high-speed competition; let’s check it out!
HGLRC HORNET is built on a 120mm wheelbase frame made out of 3mm thick carbon fiber and weighs just 78 grams without battery. On it we find four powerful HGLRC FH1106 6000KV brushless motors powered by an HGLRC XJB F413 (Omnibus F4.V2-Blheli_S 13A) flight controller and a HGLRC 13A 2-3S Blheli_S BB2 4 in 1 ESC.
The racing drone also packs an HGLRC XJB-ELF camera that features a 1/3″ SONY Super HAD II CCD image sensor, 600TVL resolution and a 2.3mm lens with a 120-degree field of view. The camera is then connected to a HGLRC XJB-TX20.V2 20X20MM video transmitter with a switchable output power of 25mW/100mW/200mW/350mW and an IPEX antenna.
